D. L. Fisher began work as an advertising illustrator airbrushing super-realistic food and products. She then moved to the publishing industry where she illustrated and authored books. A self-proclaimed word nerd, Fisher has edited and advised other authors on their manuscripts, and has been judging literary contests for 8+ years.

Writing novels and short stories began as a hobby. She calls herself a cave-dweller due to a propensity to work all the time—whether it be actual business or creative pursuits. She has now turned her full attention to writing and publishing.

Fisher has a lineup of novels, stories, and scripts clamoring to manifest into finished products. Some are imminent, some in the works, and some at the outline/concept stage. One thing is sure: she will at any given moment likely to be found in her cave typing away with four fingers and maybe one thumb (though she has written countless manuscripts, she never learned to type properly—a bit of folly due to a somewhat rebellious nature).
